Bridal Bar is looking for driven and passionate hair and makeup artists of all skill & experience levels to help us meet our growing demand.

The following jobs are perfect for anyone wanting to add on more bridal work to their portfolios, and those who want a second or part time job (as this is primarily weekend work). Availability on weekends is a must, but you can choose which weekends you work. If the idea of working in a high energy environment with other creative and motivated individuals is intriguing to you, we want you on our team! For all of these roles, you must have:
  • Makeup certification or Cosmetology license
  • Be 18 and older
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willing to travel throughout Kentucky & Southern Indiana
  • Portfolio of your work (Instagram or Facebook is fine) preferred
  • Open availability on weekends
  • Works well in high pressure, fast paced environments

Makeup Artists

Lead Makeup Artists should be experienced and talented individuals that are ready to lead a team and gain more work in the wedding beauty industry. This person should feel comfortable working on all skin tones and types, have great customer service and communication skills, and feel confident in being able to use their creative and technical skills to bring a bride's vision to life. Experience with airbrush makeup services is a plus.

Second Makeup Artists may be less experienced artists looking to grow their skill set and portfolio. Work with more advanced team members and receive continuing education and mentorship to gain more knowledge and experience in the wedding beauty industry.

Assistants assist other makeup artists on location by:
  • Preparing all clients skin for makeup application
  • Providing touch ups as needed after makeup application is completed
  • Taking photos and videos for social media
  • Helping with sanitation
  • Being mindful of the schedule to keep everything running smoothly

Hair Stylists

Lead Hairstylists should be experienced and talented individuals that are ready to lead a team and love working in the wedding beauty industry. This person should feel comfortable working on all hair lengths and textures, have great customer service and communication skills, have a varied portfolio of styles, and feel confident in being able to use their creative and technical skills to bring a bride's vision to life.

Second Hairstylists may be less experienced stylists looking to grow their skill set and portfolio. Work with more advanced team members and receive continuing education and mentorship to gain more knowledge and experience in the wedding beauty industry.

Assistants assist other hairstylists on location by:
  • Curling and prepping hair for styling
  • Providing touch ups as needed after initial hair style is completed
  • Taking photos and videos for social media
  • Helping with cleaning and organization
  • Being mindful of the schedule to keep everything running on time
